Dr. Gayatri Saberwal

Gayatri is a faculty member at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB). . She did her Ph.D in the Life Sciences at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, followed by post-doctoral work at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York. She has been involved with IBAB since its establishment and has had a range of responsibilities. Since 2003 she has been spearheading the entrepreneurship activities at IBAB.

Sudhir Kant

Sudhir has a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Since the last twenty seven years, he was working with a U.S. Multinational, Millipore heading the company's Indian operations as President.

Sudhir is a member of Young President's Organization and the President of Peenya Action Task Force which has been formed to give dedicated services to industries located in and around Peenya. He was founder Chairman of Thoreau Foundation, President of Maadhyam International Association and President of Millennium Association. Being an environment alist, he is also actively involved in restoration of Hebbal Lake in Bangalore through HELPA.

Sudhir is from Lucknow, U.P. and is settled in Bangalore from last two decades.

Kalyan C. Kankanala

Kalyan is the CKO and co-founder of Brainleague. He has experience in IP Consulting and is an expert trainer. During his illustrious career as an IP consultant, Kalyan worked closely with biotech and software companies on strategic IP analysis, IP Collaboration, Licenses and Audits. He was instrumental in developing a strong knowledge and training base for Brain League by developing IP content, devising training programs and running online courses. He has trained more than 2000 corporate employees in biotechnology, software and telecom sectors. As a visiting faculty at National Law School of India University and Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology, Kalyan offers courses on Intellectual Property aspects of Biotechnology. He has an LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce and Technology from Franklin Pierce Law Center and is pursuing his doctoral studies at National Law School, Bangalore.

Bishwajit Nag, Ph.D.

Dr.Bishwajit Nag is the founder, President and CEO of NRL-USA / NRL-India. He has done his Ph.D. Biochemistry (1984) in association with Late Nobel Laureate Dr. Severo Ochoa. Dr.Nag was also a Post Doctoral Fellow (1984-1987) in Biological Sciences, UC Davis Medical School, Davis, CA. He also has experience as a Senior Scientist (1987-1988) in Berlex Biosciences, South San Francisco, CA. Dr.Nag has been the Director of Research & Development (1988-1995) Anergen Inc., Redwood City, CA. He is the Founder & CSO (1996-2001) of Calyx Therapeutics Inc., Hayward, CA. Also Dr.Nag is the author of >150 publications, Inventor of >100 patents world-wide. Dr. Nag is an expert in Drug Discovery and Capital Drug Discovery, Capital Raising, IPO, Licensing and Strategic Developments.
